Lancaster ED 759 took off from RAF Binbrook on the night of 29/30 May 1943 to attack

Wuppertal, Germany. Bomb Load was 1 x 4000lb bomb and 48 x 30lb, 6600 x 4lb

incendiaries. Nothing was heard from the aircraft after take off and it did not return to

base. Twelve aircraft from the squadron took part in the raid.
